Bringing Mindfulness and Purpose Into the Workplace
Your employees are exhausted. Running on autopilot. Constantly multitasking but never fully present. Meetings where no one is really listening. Teams that can't seem to communicate effectively despite everyone's best efforts.
People want meaningful work. They want to bring their whole selves to the workplace. But the reality of constant distraction, stress, and burnout is wearing everyone down.
This isn't just a wellness issue—it's affecting retention, innovation, and your bottom line.
There's a better way to work.
Why I Do This Work
For 20 years, I worked in corporate technology leadership—and I pioneered some of the largest workplace mindfulness programs in the industry.
At IBM, I co-created a grassroots mindfulness community that grew to over 10,000 members across 30+ countries. At SS&C Technologies, I developed and led a global mindfulness program reaching 25,000+ employees, with direct training for 1,500+ people.
I learned firsthand what it takes to introduce contemplative practices into large, complex organizations—and how to demonstrate measurable impact while maintaining depth and authenticity.
But I also learned that mindfulness alone isn't enough. Organizations need both the inner work (presence, resilience, awareness) and the outer work (communication skills, team dynamics, organizational structures) to create real, lasting change.
That's what I now bring to companies: an integrated approach that transforms how people work together.
I integrate three essential elements:
Operational excellence that integrates heart and humanity: Purpose-driven approaches to team development, communication, and organizational culture
Mindful leadership: Presence, resilience, and skillful communication as foundations for high performance
The real, messy deeper work: Addressing the patterns and dynamics that keep teams stuck—poor communication, lack of trust, unspoken conflicts, burnout culture
In most engagements, I also collaborate with skilled and trusted partners to bring additional expertise—whether that's co-facilitation, specialized training, or complementary perspectives that serve your organization's needs.
HOW I WORK
how we work together
Discovery Conversation - We start with an exploratory conversation. Share what's happening in your organization, what's not working, and what you're hoping to create.
Mindfulness & Resilience Programs - Multi-week programs that build sustainable practices for individuals and teams. This isn't superficial wellness—it's creating a foundation for presence, clarity, and effectiveness.
Team Development - Facilitation for leadership teams or work groups to build trust, improve communication, and work through stuck places. We address both practical challenges and deeper patterns.
Organizational Change - As trust deepens, we can address core systemic issues. Together we co-create new structures and approaches—whether that's communication systems, meeting practices, decision-making processes, or cultural shifts—to support genuine collaboration and effectiveness.
Ongoing Support - Many organizations want continued support: regular sessions, leadership coaching, or help maintaining momentum and deepening the work.
However, there's no rigid formula—we design the approach around your reality.
what will change?
When we work together, here's what typically shifts:
Greater presence and focus - People learn to be truly present rather than constantly distracted. Meetings become more productive. Quality of attention improves.
Better team dynamics - Communication becomes more direct and skillful. Teams navigate conflict more effectively. Trust deepens.
Reduced burnout - People develop sustainable practices and healthier boundaries. Work-life balance improves. Resilience increases.
Purpose and engagement - When people can bring their whole selves to work and feel their work matters, motivation and creativity flourish.
Business results - Improved retention, innovation, collaboration, and performance—because people are actually present and engaged in their work.
This isn't magic. It's the result of doing the real work—the sometimes messy, always worthwhile work—of building conscious, functional organizations.
